New ministers

Artur Mas, the President of the Government of Catalonia, presided over the ceremony during which new members of the Government of Catalonia's Executive Council and the Government Secretary were sworn into office. After the swearing-in ceremony, President Mas chaired the first meeting of the new Executive Council.

In accordance with Presidential Decree, the following individuals have been appointed as the Vice President of the Government of Catalonia, Government ministers, and the Government Secretary:

• Joana Ortega i Alemany, Minister of Governance and Institutional Relations and Vice President of the Government of Catalonia.
• Andreu Mas-Colell, Minister of Economy and Knowledge.
• Irene Rigau i Oliver, Minister of Education.
• Boi Ruiz i Garcia, Minister of Health.
• Felip Puig i Godes, Minister of Home Affairs.
• Lluís Recoder i Miralles, Minister of Town and Country Planning and Sustainability.
• Ferran Mascarell i Canalda, Minister of Culture.
• Josep Maria Pelegrí i Aixut, Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, Food, and the Environment.
• Josep Lluís Cleries i Gonzàlez, Minister of Social Welfare and the Family.
• Francesc Xavier Mena i López, Minister of Enterprise and Labour.
• Pilar Fernández i Bozal, Minister of Justice.
• Germà Gordó i Aubarell, the Government Secretary.
