Best Practices

Linguamón – The House of Languages launches Linguamón Best Practices in Multilingualism, a service available to all language communities, for the fair and equal promotion of all the world’s languages.

Linguamón Best Practices hopes to make an active and positive contribution to language sustainability. It focuses on promoting and extending the use of best practices in multilingualism and language diversity that have already been tried out in other language communities.

Linguamón Best Practices also provides reports and recommendations to guide governments, organisations, companies and other institutions wishing to change their language management by adopting criteria that respect language diversity.

Linguamón Best Practices are designed for:

• Government and non-government institutions that wish to adopt criteria of sustainability and respect for language diversity. 

• Government institutions that wish to help preserve language diversity within their territory.

• Organisations, associations and companies that wish to review or change their rules on language use.

• Language management and planning professionals, language teachers, specialists in applied linguistics, sociolinguistics etc.
