Internal Organization

The IEA is divided into two units, the Research Unit (Àrea de Recerca) and the Unit for the Development of Self-Government (Àrea de Desenvolupament Autonòmic). Both units report to the Director of the IEA.

The Governing Council of the IEA

Decides the mission and objectives of IEA and then supervises their implementation. This body is made up of members of the Catalan Government, senior figures of the Catalan Universities and representatives of professional associations. The current composition of the Governing Council is as follows:
