The IEA's Newsletter is an online publication of the Institut d'Estudis Autonòmics (a research institute linked to the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Catalan Government). It has a twofold mission. In the one hand, the Newsletter is the original instrument of the IEA for the divulgation of its activities (namely seminars and publications). In the other, the Newsletter is aimed to spread information about the development of self-government and political decentralization within Spain and Catalonia. Hence, along with the IEA's activities sections, the Newsletter includes three more sections related with the most recent developments of the self-government in Spain. The former one gathers up the important political events about to come. The remaining two, deal with information from an institutional point of view: whereas the first one is devoted to the analysis of current institutional and political affaires, the second one is committed to the systematically compilation of Autonomous-Community Legislation, Bilateral Commissions Agreements and Constitutional Conflicts between the Central Government and the Autonomous-Communities.
