The 2005 calendar of the Catalan Institute of the Woman, made by historian Antonina Rodrigo, is dedicated to the syndicalism women.

With this calendar, the Institute wants to contribute to fill the existent long-felt want on the recognizing the importance of women on the past as active fellows of social transformations.

Syndicalism women of the calendar come from several trade union organizations (anarchists, socialists, Marxists...) and highlighted for the strength with which they defended their convictions.

Each month is dedicated to a trade unionist woman, and includes a picture and a brief biographic note of each.

It’s also being prepared an exhibition dedicated to syndicalism women, which will be itinerant and is foreseen to be ready by the beginning of 2005.
