The facilities, with a surface area of 370 hectares and a runway of 2.5 kilometres, have been built at a cost of over 95 million euros.

The Airport Plan forecasts that, in the medium term, the facility will be used by 400,000 people per year and 3,500 tonnes of freight will pass through it, and connect to the main cities in Europe.
